Ultraviolet
Aroview: Bleak and vaguely coherent sci-fi actioner, with Milla Jovovich playing a diseased half-vampire who must protect a small boy - whose blood may contain a special virus - amid ongoing bloodshed between humans and vampires on the streets of Shangahi. Athletic gun-play notwithstanding, this humourless outing is something of a sophomore slump after dir. Wimmer's intriguing debut, EQUILIBRIUM.

3 stars (Good Enough) Ultraviolet is nowhere near as great as older brother equilibrium, but it does have a unique visual style and some CGI scenes that push the boundaries of live-action/CGI/anime. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) It was okay but it was not that distinguishable and will not stay in the memory long. ~Tubbs
