Aroview: Jon Pertwee took over from Patrick Troughton as the third and one of the most memorable 'Doctors' in the long-running BBC series. Pertwee proved a physically imposing and dapper presence, spending much of his tenure on Earth helping UNIT (United Nations Intelligence Taskforce) and battling the powerful 'Master'.
