Asylum

Aroview: Tense psychological thriller from the dir. of YOUNG ADAM that owes plenty to the master Hitch, with Natasha Richardson in fine form as a bored psychiatrist's wife seduced by a volatile asylum patient convicted of murder (played by Kiwi Marton Csokas). Calculated direction and a decidedly wicked Ian Mckellen in support goes some way to quelling the film's pointed implausiblity.
