Aroview: Charming cornpoke sitcom was a 'sister-show' to both THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and GREEN ACRES, being also set in the town of Hooterville and revolving around the quaint hotel 'The Shady Rest' run by a widow (Benaderat), her brother (Buchanan) and her three lovely daughters. Typically, when strangers came to spend the night they took to the small town atmosphere so well, they usually decided to stay forever!
