4 stars (Very Good) quirky comedy has three misfit convicts sharing a cell in a seedy New Orleans jail and escaping together. Plenty of local colour--especially for a black & white movie. Tom Waits sings over the opening and closing credits as well as acting in the movie. ~Anon
