Aroview: Capable and assured detective drama dodges most of the worst cliches of the genre, with Kyra Sedwick playing a talented 'Southern Belle' investigator who gets brought in to help close the LAPD's tough cases, much to the chagrin of the existing murder squad. The most welcome feature of the series is the emphasis on internal politics and interrogation psychology, rather than cod-forensics.
