Story of My Life, The

Aroview: A ghostwriter’s charmed life is thrown into tailspin when he’s assigned the autobiography of a notoriously egotistical soccer star. Further complicating matters: the subject’s gorgeous girlfriend (THE VALET's Alice Taglioni).

At the heart of this perfectly agreeable romantic comedy is Eduoard Baer, something of an endearing and openly imperfect alternative to the Hollywood leading man’s fraudulant vulnerabilty and insufferable swoon. In trying to have his cake (the long-time girlfriend) and eat it too (the footballer’s sexy catch), the character is plunged headfirst into film’s relationship scenario that may be run-of-the-mill French confection, but is sweet enough all the same.
