Terkel in Trouble
Aroview: Teenage angst takes on whole new meaning in this savagely black animated comedy that isn't for the kiddies or the prudish. Disgruntled teenager Terkel doesn't just have puberty to worry about; there's his violent drunk of an uncle, a catatonic dad, his homicidal best friend, squirt gun bearing bullies, and the small matter of anonymous death threats.
Bilious humour is the order of the day and certain to appeal to anyone who remembers their teenage years as less than a stellar experience, and the crude animation, resplendent with characters just standing round open-mouthed, only adds to the horror as if Terkel was trapped in an old console game designed by Edvard Munch.
