With the tagline “kick some ice” this never comes close to taking itself seriously, and follows the template of Ferrell's equally goofball outings, TALLADEGA NIGHTS and ANCHORMAN. Comic Johnny-come-lately Heder hams it up as his rival ice-skater; the two are forced to work together as the first male team. Frequently silly, occasionally hilarious, and always over-the-top.

2 stars (Good Try) A bit of restraint would have helped - we didn't need the crutch area antics - they don't help the comedic segments that follow. ~Tubbs
