Georgia (Fonda), the grandmother/matriarch, lives her life by rules which she announces with the definitive statement that forms the title of the film. Gritty performances and dark material does not prevent this from falling towards melodrama, though fans of Fonda in particular may not mind in the least.

3 stars (Good Enough) The screenplay is a bit uneven but the casting choice for the three female generations makes it worthwhile. ~Tubbs
