Aroview: Big-screen debut of America’s yellowiest suburban family, with Homer inadvertently causing an ecological meltdown that threatens Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and the whole Springfield gang.

While it may be a few years too late, it’s still a case of better late than never. Plenty of wacky postmodern laughs and parodies, alongside some of more inventive Homer-in-pain scenes ever devised, make sure the Matt Groening creations remain among the most intelligent and indelible comedy around.
