Slasher
Aroview: Documents a frenzied working weekend in the life of Michael "The Slasher" Bennett, a travelling used car salesman - the worst of his breed - who hawks the lemons nobody else will touch to suckers who can't afford them.
From the director of THE BLUES BROTHERS, TRADING PLACES and ANIMAL HOUSE, this doco is, at root, comic, though there's room for tangy pathos for both the shark and his victims.
Either way, the pace never lets up and neither does the colourful, profane, larger-than-life Bennett, from his touchdown in low-down Memphis to his last beer at breakfast, while the soundtrack teems with bonza Stax tracks.
