Shoot 'em Up
Aroview: Clive Owen delivers a baby and some good one-liners, as well as the thrills the title promises, in this loud, obnoxious, wildly adrenalised action-comedy.
Lively, if entirely bone-headed as the bastard child of CHILDEN OF MEN, Hong Kong action maestro John Woo gets the biggest bow in what is essentially a hollow screenplay partitioned into a series of outlandish and unlikely setpieces. Digestible as a piss take, but almost too stupid and overambitious for its own good.

3 stars (Good Enough) A ridiculous and over the top comedy-actioner that has Owen spouting silly one-liners and killing by the hundreds. Cartoonish, outrageous, and at times a lot of fun - if you can handle the cheesiness. P.s. always eat your vegetables. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) Funny in a violent kind of way. ~Tubbs
