Based on the tell-all chick lit bestseller of the same name, and brought to screen by the writer-director team behind AMERICAN SPLENDOR, this film features some good (alternately brittle and monstrous) performances from Giamatti and Linney as the employers from hell - and ticks all the right girl-movie boxes, without ever really gripping as a rom-com or biting as an insidery, DEVIL WEARS PRADA-style expose.
