TV Set, The

Aroview: Viciously accurate, insider-penned satire of TV networks and one man's efforts to develop his own show by the writer/director of ZERO EFFECT.

David Duchovny is well cast (again?) as the bummed-out writer bending over for the sake of his art, man, and Sigourney Weaver adds gravitas as a cynical/ignorant studio prez, while the rest of the cast give plenty of support and sub-plot interest. Not so insidery it doesn't work.
