On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Aroview: Unique among Bonds not only for the one-off casting of George Lazenby but also the greater sensitivity given to his character (007 falls in love and gets married!), and action sequences that up the ante of the preceeding Connery-Bonds. Otherwise it’s business as usual that mostly takes place on a hill-top retreat in Switzerland.

3 stars (Good Enough) The only Bond film starring Lazenby, this is not typical Bond in some aspects (romance), but very typically bond in others (action). Lazenby is not as convincing a 007 as Connery or Moore, but the film overall still carries the Bond essence. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Add one star if you're a 007 fan. Great score, swank 60's production design. Lazenby is my favourite punch-thrower of all of the Bonds. Plot equal measures silly and straight-forward. ~Pop&Coffee
4 stars (Very Good) Weird that the most sensitive Bond movie is also the most faithful to the book. ~Pearce
