Veronica Mars (TV Series)
Aroview: Addictive, dark-hued mystery noir masquerading as a high school drama, centred on the socially ostracised teen daughter of a private eye whose moonlighting as a detective dredges up sinister town secrets.
Gaining traction through an increasingly twisted storyline (which involves the unsolved murder of Veronica’s best friend, and a multitude of shady suspects and complicit parties), the show is distinguished through its edgy, adult treatment of primetime taboos in conjunction with sarcasms and pop-culture reference. Championed by Joss Whedon, this should appeal immediately to the BUFFY cult.
Season One: 22 episodes across six discs.
Season Two: 22 episodes across six discs.
Season Three: 20 episodes across five discs.

4 stars (Very Good) Flatmate made me watch this, and I enjoyed every minute. Maintains a remarkable consistency throughout the 3 seasons, and is at heart laudably blue-collar and suspicious of those in power. ~HiFi
