Max and the Junkmen

Aroview: French crime drama set in the noir shaded streets of Paris follows a frustrated detective getting tangled up in a love triangle after commissioning a group of small time thieves to rob a bank for personal gain.

Romy Schneider brings a tender touch to the role of Lily and what starts out as a gritty crime flick descends into a fragile love story. An engaging story-line is enhanced by director Sautet (A HEART IN WINTER) weaving a visually complex work of on-screen art.
