Hunting Party, The

Aroview: Action-packed serio-comic political thriller in the spirit of THREE KINGS centres on the shaggy dog story of an intrepid trio of journalists led by world-weary veteran Gere, who embarks on a mission to track down a wanted Serbian war criminal nicknamed 'The Fox'.

Oscillating in tone - not quite sure whether to lash out at authoritarian incompetency or laugh it off under the cloak of irony - and somewhat insensitively trivial given the atrocious context, this nevertheless maintains a strident sense of authenticity and adventurism, held together by a likeably cynical performance from Gere.
