Flawless

Aroview: Competent period caper teams up undervalued Diamond Corp exec Demi Moore with disaffected janitor Michael Caine, as they decide to take revenge by stealing diamonds from their powerful employer.

Despite nailing the modernist '60s heist aesthetic, this rather mannered affair doesn't quite exude the kind of effortless electric cool one would usually associate with the genre, while the script exhibits a few too many blemishes to go unnoticed. Caper veteran Caine, however, steals attention with a wily gem of a performance.
