Dead Space

Aroview: A deep space survivalist horror, based on the video game of the same name, centred on a group of miners battling against a gruesome alien invasion accidently released from a far-flung planet.

In the spirit of its source material, this animated prequel maintains a gory, blood-splatter edge, with liberal and imaginative bursts of zombie-inspired violence. Barely deviating from the ALIENS formula, the story is a forthright kill-or-be-killed premise, unfolding minus the psychological turmoil and unbearable tension.
