Vengeance

Aroview: Fast-paced jungle fantasy horror has a young man and his friends in pursuit of an escaped prisoner inside a fantastical forest populated by bloodthirsty evil demons.

Featuring a killer combination of CGI ‘natural’ nasties, inc. tiger wasps, mortally seductive ‘fruit tree maidens’, cute little bloodthirsty geckoes and a great big bastard of a snake, this doesn’t lack for visual surprises or unexpectedly gorgeous shots, and keeps the action and gore levels humming along nicely, though the budget-grade effects aren’t always up to scratch.
