Aroview: Retired CIA operative Liam Neeson goes COMMANDO all over Paris on a ruthless mission to save his kidnapped daughter from an Albanian prostitution ring.
Self-righteous to a fault, Neeson’s bloody-minded raison d’etre might seem exactly the kind of gung-ho ignorance TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE sent up so brilliantly, but fortunately comes across as less ludicrous in the hands of a brutally effective Neeson. Perhaps missing the dramatic smarts of the similarly physical BOURNE franchise, opting instead to paper over gaping plot holes with giddy displays of visual panache, but undoubtedly ass-kicking catnip for action-revenge fans.

4 stars (Very Good) Neeson is great as a special-ops retiree seeking his kidnapped daughter. Expect lots of broken bones and bullet-ridden corpses in this high-paced part-Borne revenge story high on emotional drive. Neeson will find you. Just don’t wish him good-luck. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Resistance is futile, forget any objections (villains of varying degrees of swarth, the daughter's virtue preserved while all about are losing theirs, etc.), sheer momentum carries the day. ~HiFi
2 stars (Good Try) There are a number of films where parents go searching for a missing daughter. Thanks to Neeson this is one of the better ones. ~Tubbs
