Secret of the Magic Gourd, The

Aroview: One of the first children's fantasies from mainland China to be formally released in the West tells the story of an imaginative under-achiever who discovers a magic gourd (a small pumpkin-like fruit) that can make all his wishes come true.

Though dubbed and probably modified by Disney studios, this holds novelty appeal for children looking for an exotic twist, even if it borrows heavily from other sources, and (coincidentally?) resembles Stephen Chow's Hong Kong children's delight, CJ7.
