Aroview: An Oscar-winner for Best Foreign Language film, this taut German thriller reconstructs the story of a Jewish fraudster forced to assist the Nazis by forging currency from within the confines of a concentration camp.
The compounded intrigue of the fact-based story and the German viewpoint, coupled with a uniform excellence across the production, keeps this entertaining throughout, with the more unsavoury aspects of Nazi oppression subtlely confined to the periphery.

0 star (Not rated) This movie is very well rounded in its coverage of humanity ethics and faith while retelling the story, it left a deep impression on my mind at its conclusion ~Tiberius
2 stars (Good Try) Typical academy award winner - shallow and not challenging enough. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) A harsh, uncompromising account of cruel and duplicitous nazism with self-justifying participants. The film would be better suited to black and white cinematography for stark effects. Not entertaining or frivolous. ~rakau
