Philadelphia
Aroview: First major Hollywood AIDS movie is more concerned with prejudice than the disease itself, and is effective in its aim to educate as much as entertain. Tom Hanks won an Oscar as the dying man fighting for his dignity, but it's Denzel Washington as his homophobic lawyer who is most compelling.
