Ancient Rome (TV Series)

Aroview: Extensive series dramatising the rise and fall of the Ancient Roman Empire through six episodes each presenting a different turning point in the fate of Rome - Rebellion, Revolution, Caesar, Constantine, Nero, Fall.

This series avoids the showy melodrama of the 2005 ROME series and instead provides a detailed look into the mechanics of society by way of narration and far more emphasis on historical and political events rather than individual's personal fortunes.
