Aroview: This lavish adaptation of Puccini's opera by visionary dir. Luhrmann is brought into a modern setting with seamstress Mimi (Baker) and poet Rodolfo (Hobson) played as young bohemian lovers in Paris in the 50s. Filmed live at the Sydney Opera House, this is as full of panache and spectacle as one could hope for, complemented by a brilliant - and surprisingly youthful - cast.
