Aroview: Silly-smart comedy about two immature man-children who choose to be 'big brothers' to two young kids as community service for a minor misdemeanor, but soon find that jail might have been the better option.
This is one of the better entries into the 'bromance' genre, with a sweet sentimentality underlying the crassness and a script full of wicked-sharp sarcasm, handled with considerable comic skill by a deadpan Rudd. Surprisingly, the stars of the show are the less palatable supporting players, in particular Jane Lynch, who chews scenery as a onetime drug addict determined to be as explicit about her promiscuous past as possible. From the dir. of WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER.
