Great Waldo Pepper, The

Aroview: Rousing aviation film following Waldo Pepper (Redford), a former WW1 flight-instructor who takes up extreme stunt flying in order to make up for the action he missed out on during the war, and the deadly rivalry he cultivates with German air ace Ernst Kessler (Brundin).

Featuring real stunt planes and Redford at his most debonair, this is classic adventure stuff, although leaves you with a surprisingly chilling message.
