Me Two
Aroview: This French farce sets up a straight-laced, friendless accountant for possession by the spirit of an 80s one-hit-wonder, with predictably engaging if mildly predictable results.
The boisterous psyche-squatter hatches a plan to mold the hapless host into a vehicle for his pop-stardom comeback. This screwball comedy is the collaborative debut of directing/writing duo Nicolas Charlet and Bruno Lavaine, billing themselves as ‘Nicolas & Bruno’. This implies we can, for better or worse, expect more of the same from them in future. Not that there is a dearth of such films, this being an attempt on the life of Steve Martin's classic ALL OF ME and an (imprecisely fitting) addition to the 'bodyswap' comedy subgenre.
