Bolt

Aroview: Dog-gone charming furball flick about a pampered puppy called Bolt (voiced by Travolta) who stars in his own superhero show and believes his superpowers are real.

He gets a taste of reality when he is inadvertently shipped to the East Coast, and must find his way home (cue cross-country adventure) with his natural-born wiles and the help of two sidekicks (a cynical, streetwise feline and a fanatical hamster). Though the concept of Hollywood artifice may need a little explaining to younger tots, this is a Disney animation that hits the mark, if not quite in the league of a top-drawer Pixar.
