Amazing Mrs Pritchard, The (TV Series)

Aroview: Excellent UK drama focused on supermarket manager Ros Pritchard (Horrocks) who decides to sort out Britain's political climate by running for Prime Minister, and subsequently wins the General Election.

A healthy disregard for political stereotypes and a charmingly middle-class Horrocks makes for great satire, although the show was cancelled after the first season in the UK due to poor ratings - or maybe pro-Blair sentiment.
