Real Ghostbusters, The (TV Series)

Aroview: Popular eighties cartoon series furthers the adventures of Ghostbusters Peter, Egon, Ray and Winston, although this time they're joined by past nemesis 'Slimer', who acts as a sort of helpful pet.

This has a surprisingly darker tone than many of the 'Saturday morning' cartoons of the era, with storylines that are typically, in fact, rather horrific, softened only by the comforting familiarity of the Ghostbusters themselves. Excellent viewing for kids who truly appreciate a good old-fashioned scare.
