Fugitive Pieces

Aroview: Coming-of-age drama centered around a man who cannot forget his childhood experiences during WW2, and his struggle to overcome his crippling losses.

Subtly handled and superbly performed by Stephen Dillane its still a bit of an unsatisfying watch, and the feeling that too much has been excised from Anne Michael's novel lingers with some ungainly shifts in time.
