K-20 - Legend Of The Mask

Aroview: An adventurous Japanese swashbuckler spun around a flamboyant mtaster thief who steals from the rich, and the unassuming acrobat (Kaneshiro) who is framed for his crimes.

With blockbuster pretensions, this is a rather fun and forgivable action vehicle sporting comedy, intrigue, and high-wire stunts. Although not adapted from a comic, manga-inspired visuals and an imaginative alternate reality ensure there’s ample flair behind the film’s superhero aspirations.
