Aroview: Broad eighties comedy stars a fresh-faced Hanks as a upper class snob who joins the peace corps in Thailand in order to escape his gambling debts back in America. A gung-ho John Candy (although irritatingly absent for most of the film) adds a much-needed boost to the rather predictable proceedings, while Hanks is as watchable as ever.
