Aroview: SFX heavy live-adaptation of the popular toy franchise sees the G.I. Joe super-soldiers take on a corrupt arms dealer and the mysterious organization known as 'Cobra.'

Plot is discarded fairly quickly in favour of wall-to-wall CGI and loud noises, high-tech gadgets provide mild entertainment, and the cast is mostly good looking. Nothing else to report, other than this is marginally better than comparable money-soaked spectacle TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, by virtue of having a shorter running time.

2 stars (Good Try) There is some good artwork and set designs but you have to be quick to see them in the almost unending action - and if you haven't seen the Eiffel Tower collapse before - this is your chance. ~Tubbs
