Couples Retreat

Aroview: Buddies Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau (SWINGERS) team up once again in this hit-and-miss comedy about a group of couples who go to a tropical 'couples retreat' in order to sort out their problems.

Co-written by Favreau and Vaughn, it is hard to believe this vanity project came from the same self-deprecating, observational minds behind SWINGERS. Perhaps it's ego-stroking, or perhaps it's just Hollywood - whatever it is, it's hard to relate to these out-of-shape, whiny men, all of whom are dissatisfied with their gorgeous, doting girlfriends.
