Aroview: Robin Williams is a livewire as the iconic spinach eating sailor man, but it’s Shelley Duvall as gangly Olive Oyl who steals the show in Robert Altman’s peachy live-action Popeye movie.

Signature stylistic cues and peppy musical numbers (by Nilsson) put this in surprisingly good stead amongst the director's more recognised catalogue of movie greats. Williams' first feature film role.
