Food, Inc.
Aroview: Crystallising FAST FOOD NATION’s dramatic expose into hard-hitting documentary form, author Eric Scholosser (and other muckrackers) turn the microscope on America’s corporate controlled food industry and where its produce really comes from.
Dropping statistical bombshells with confronting, often-graphic footage of livestock practices, this does well to offer alternatives and solutions to the outrageous revelations at hand, all delivered in a snappy, urgent package by dir. Kenner.

5 stars (Exceptional) Shocking and enlightening. A must see to know how food is produced in the US.rnCattle are fed corn, when they have eaten grass for centuries, to speed up the growth of the animal.rnThe part about what Monsanto are up to was rather shocking too. ~emjay
3 stars (Good Enough) Admirably well-intended, if a bit too "light" to take as seriously as, say, Fast Food Nation or Our Daily Bread (both well-worth seeing). Still interesting most of the way, with some alaraming facts and - best of all - tips about what we can do to help. ~fairbrother
