Beyond a Reasonable Doubt

Aroview: Glib remake of the hard-to-find Fritz Lang classic has an intrepid reporter (Metcalfe) determined to bring down a corrupt D.A (a typically slimy Michael Douglas) by implicating himself in murder.

Glossy, if superficial update milks the gripping plotline for all its worth, though at the expense of Lang's scathing critique of the American justice system.
