Bran Nue Dae
Aroview: Lively comedy adapted from the stage musical that follows a teenage Aborigine who runs away from Catholic boarding school in the mid 1960's.
Certainly unique in Australian cinema for presenting sunny role models for their indigenous people, this has its big heart in the right place even if it misses the polish of the big-budget Hollywood-Broadway model. Family-friendly, this is careful not to touch on any raw nerves of historical injustice, instead playing mostly for light laughs to please the broadest possible crowd.

0 star (Not rated) haven't seen this yet, but I can gather by the raves about it, leaves no doubt that this is massive, especially for the indigenous peoples of Australia. Thanks. My next order after I receive the 3 DVDs I have ordered and paid for by cheque. ~ekere
