Aroview: Above par made-for-television drama, set during the German occupation of the Channel Islands in World War II, with the struggle of three families as the focus.
A first rate cast and multi-dimensional characters battling ideological dilemmas make for compelling viewing, but some may balk at the portrayal of Nazis as "love starved men timidly begging English woman for some sugar."
