Tell Them Anything You Want - A Portrait of Maurice Sendak
Aroview: These frank and insightful conversations with Maurice Sendak (and dir. Spike Jonze) paint a surprising portrait of the WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE author, now in his 80s, as he reflects caustically on his art, childhood, and the spectre of death.
This sharp 39-minute documentary is supplemented by two further encounters with Sendak: a Q&A with Jonze at the Musuem of Modern Art, and a series of speeches and tributes by cast members from the live-action film at Sendak's birthday party.
