Crimes of the Future
Aroview: Cronenberg's sophomore feature "Crimes of the Future" takes Stereo's stylings even further into the realms of intentional loopiness. The plot involves a society damaged by cosmetics, strange forms of podiatric therapy, and the search for a mad dermatologist. The narration-heavy storytelling is not without its moments of offbeat humour, but lacks the budget or gore factor of some of Cronenberg's later ventures into bent realities and bodily decay.

3 stars (Good Enough) Probably best to see "Stereo" first but this is no easier a watch. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) A more elaborate but less interesting companion to Stereo, this goes a bit deeper into the body horror that would characterise Cronenberg's career. ~Pearce
