Aroview: Lemmy Kilmister, lead singer of classic UK metal band 'Motorhead', is here deified as the "Godfather of Metal" and quintessential rock 'n' roll icon in this amiable rock doc.
In between gigs, and fraternizing (musically and socially) with the likes of Metallica, Dave Grohl and other tattooed-types of the rock scene, the laid-back 60-something's normal life sees him amble through on a steady diet of cigarettes, video games and hoarding war memorabilia. Also delves somewhat into Lemmy's formative musical years in 60's bands and stint with prog-rockers 'Hawkwind' before he found his true calling as the pioneer of speed-metal and living legend. There's nothing revelatory here, but it adds yet another colourful patch to the vast tapestry of rock'n'roll history.

3 stars (Good Enough) While all good and entertaining enough as a doco it could've done with some dramatic pacing. ~Boomer
3 stars (Good Enough) nothing special. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) Some interesting stories from Lemmy himself, but all the other rock/metal heavyweights just seemed to be there to blow smoke up his arse ~Truant
