Aroview: Soapy biopic of the great Spanish bullfighter focuses more on his torrid love affair with a hot-tempered actress than his actual bullfighting prowess.

Beautifully lensed melodrama is occasionally too hysterical for its own good, and the multiple flashbacks quickly become wearying.
