Aroview: A sound, praiseworthy biopic of New Zealand's greatest ever comedian, played here by Tainui Tukiwaho with equal parts sobriety and jolly affability.

While still leaving much to speculation in the way of Billy T's controversies – among them, his financial problems and the conflict between whanau and family over his body – this is roundly written and performed. Tukiwaho, in particular, hits all the right comedic notes with his rendition of James’s iconic stand-up routines and TV sketches.
