Lip Service (TV Series)

Aroview: Scotland is the setting for this BBC spin on THE L WORD, centred on the romantic entanglements of a group of lesbians living in Glasgow.

Though praiseworthy for engaging in contemporary gay issues, the series nonetheless suffers from an excess of "lipstick lesbian" cliches. This compromise aside, the series' distinctly British accent is a welcome alternative to the brassier sounds of its American counterpart.
